CKD-MIN 10 won the second prize achieving 1098,29km/liter. CKD-MIN 10 will be one of two representatives from Vietnam that will join the global Honda EMC organized at Motegi racecourse in Japan on November 2014.
The ecobiotic mileage challenge started officially after two daysof testing (22 & 23 May 2014). CKD-MIN 10 from Hochiminh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) wona special prize in the final and now have a chance to take part in the Honda EMC in Japan.
Vo Chi Phu, the leader of CKD-MIN 10 shared his experience: “We have tried our best since the past three years in order to take part in this challenge, and we are completely satisfied with it. In the next semester of academic year 2013-2014, the team will attempt to complete the study at Universityl. Besides, we are planning very carefully for modifying the car to enter the competition in Japan in October. In addtition, we have received a lot of encouragement and support from HCMUTE. We try to have futher improvement in the next challenge and hope to get success for HCMUTE as well as Vietnam.
CKD-MIN 10 won special prize of Honda EMC in Japan
To be excited and proud of the students, the President, Prof. Dr. Do Van Dung talked: “Get a new record at Tokyo, maintaining the great traditional of Faculty of vehicle and energy engineering – HCMC University of Technology and Education”.The President promised toaward 50 million Vietnam Dong when the CKD-MIN 10 can make a new record over 3.600km / liter by the current record of Japan. He added “The students at HCMUTE are not weaker than the Japan students”. Besides, the President signed a decision to award 10 million Vietnam Dong for the team with this encouraging performance.
CK01 from University of Transport won the first prize with the achievement of 1164.848 km/ liter this time. The results of the two leader teams led by far the achievement of the other team. The achievement of two leader teams are much better than others and break the record 1091 km/liter in 2013.
