The Infirmary of HCMC University of Technology and Education was set up in 1977 (Decision on the establishment of functioning unit in the University, No. 633/QĐ-CB dated June 6th, 1977 of the Ministry of University and Vocational High School. 
Achievements:
- Receiving Certificates of Merits from Vietnam Health Insurance, HCMC People’s Committee, HCMC Social Insurance in many consecutive years.
- Successfully carrying out the Student Health Insurance policy 
- Receiving Certificate of Merits for numerous accomplishments in health care activities for the teaching staff and successfully carrying out health care activities at school in the period of 2006-2011;
- Receiving Certifcate of Merits from the Ministry of Health for numerous accomplishments in carrying out Directive No. 23/2006/CT-TTg regarding the fortification of health care in school in 2006-2011 issued on November 15th, 2011.
